Basquiat’s work always has a graphic line quality to it and I wanted to reference that with this look. The bright blue color is also one of his favorite shades, appearing in numerous paintings. I kept the rest of Demi’s face very raw with just a touch of blush, a mix of moisturizer and foundation plus the tiniest bit of nude lipstick made sheer by applying directly over lip balm.
