Pre-makeup skincare is one of those essential subjects (maybe not to world politics but definitely when it comes to beauty!) that we really don’t talk about often enough. What you put on your skin, before applying your makeup, will determine how long your makeup lasts, the texture of your base, the general undertone of your complexion, etc. And so I was excited when Sephora asked me to test out some of their latest and greatest pre-makeup skincare products.
Prior to doing Crystal’s makeup in the animated image above, I applied a makeup gripper that creates an instant glow, a milk peel gentle enough to use before heading out the door, a pale blue tinted under eye cream that de-puffs and brightens under eye circles, and a complexion perfector that hides every trace of redness.
