I remember being a young girl and hearing women say “I need to put on my face”. ?And I was immediately fascinated by the idea that some women had a second face. ?Through astute observation, I concluded that they seemed to store that other face in the bathroom or sometimes in their purse. ?I wondered how old I had to be to get another face and what it would look like. ?What would happen if I didn’t like the extra face, would I still have to put it on? ?I stayed up late one night, mulling over this second face idea and eventually decided that I would just ask for a blank one? that way I could paint it to look like whatever I wanted.
