Spring feels like the perfect time to launch a new project… so here it is, my take on a beauty blog! ?It’s really a photo essay of sorts, a collection of faces and looks that I find inspiring. And it only seems right that the first photo I post features Charlotte since BEAUTY IS BORING really began with her face. ?The day that I took this photo, this project was a background thought – nothing concrete, just a little idea that kept bouncing around. ?Charlotte was generous enough to loan me her amazing face to test out the vintage Polaroid camera I had just picked up. ?We did a quick make-up look, shot a few images and that was that. ?A few days later, as I was scanning in the images, something clicked in my brain and BEAUTY IS BORING was born.
